I am so familiar with all that because it had been a big part of me for so long. It wasn’t until I had enough of feeling this way and had enough of always trying to find something or someone to blame it on and getting no where.

I had finally surrendered to this so-called destiny of mine and said IM DONE! YOU WIN! I will just be,

Now that’s when everything turned around and life started to take me in a whole new direction. A weight had been lifted. Suddenly doors opened that I wasn’t even knocking on, seeing things I ‘d never seen before, feelings I never felt before and so much more. But here is the thing, all that was there, it had always been there, it’s just that I had been so involved, drowning myself in self sorrow and thoughts of the past that I couldn’t see what was in front of me this whole time. Now all this didn’t happen overnight but when I look back it feels like it did. That’s how fast things can turn around for you.

I knew I wasn’t the only one who faced challenges that kept me from moving forward and living a kind of life that I wanted to live, I also knew that this is my way of giving back, like the saying we can change the world one person at a time. I strongly believe in that.
